He was born in Naples in 1948 on March the 2nd. He took his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Federico II University of Naples.

He is currently Associate Professor at the Mechanical Department of University of Calabria. His research interests include work methods and effective design of workstations in manufacturing systems by using Modeling & Simulation.

He has published several scientific papers participating as speaker to international and national conferences. He is actively involved in different projects as Scientific Responsible. During the past years he was involved in projects in cooperation with the Italian Government as well as with the most important Italian Companies (Fiat, Olivetti). He has acquired experience with Italian and European funds devoted to support Research & Development in small, medium and big enterprises.

He has acquired experiences with Office packages and Modeling & Simulation Packages. He teaches Industrial Plants and Management of Production Systems respectively for students of the 3rd and 5th years of Mechanical Engineering.
